1. Introduction

Welcome to With Benefits. This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of With Benefits ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use the With Benefits mobile application (the "App"). With Benefits helps you track your credit card benefits: add your cards, log credit redemptions, get reminded before a benefit expires unused, and see how much value you're recouping against each card's annual fee.

The short version: we do not collect any of your data. The App has no account system, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party SDKs. Everything you enter stays on your device and in your own private iCloud database.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect, receive, transmit, or have access to any of your personal information. The App does not require an account or sign-in, and it does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Information you enter in the App — such as which credit cards you hold, their annual fees, benefit values, and the redemptions you log — is stored only on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your private iCloud database. This data never touches our servers, because we don't have any.

Note that the App only stores the names of your cards and the benefits you track. It never asks for, and has no access to, card numbers, statements, transactions, or any connection to your financial accounts.

3. Data Storage and iCloud Sync

Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you are signed in to iCloud, the App also syncs your data to your private iCloud database via Apple's CloudKit service, so it is backed up and available across your devices. This private database is controlled by your Apple ID; we cannot read, access, or recover its contents.

Apple's handling of your iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. If iCloud is unavailable or you are not signed in, the App stores your data on your device only.

4. Notifications

The App can remind you before a benefit expires unused. These reminders are local notifications, scheduled entirely on your device — no data is sent anywhere to deliver them. Notification permission is optional, and you can revoke it at any time in your device's Settings.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with anyone — because we never possess it in the first place.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Because your data lives only on your device and in your private iCloud database, you have direct control over it:

• You can view and edit all of your data within the App at any time
• You can delete individual cards, benefits, or redemption records within the App
• You can delete all App data by deleting the App and removing its iCloud data in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage

No deletion request to us is necessary — we have nothing to delete on our end.

7. Data Retention

We do not retain any of your data. Your information persists on your device and in your private iCloud database until you delete it, entirely under your control.

8. Children's Privacy

With Benefits is not directed at children, and because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children.

9. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs or services other than Apple's own frameworks (SwiftData, CloudKit, and local notifications). Benefit values in the built-in card catalog are informational and are bundled with the App — no network requests are made to retrieve them.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy at this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
